So the Boryeong Mud Festival is an annual festival which occurs every year in mid-July about 200km south of Seoul. The mud in Boryeong is full of minerals, bentonites, and germaniums. The festival started in 1997 to promote cosmetic products mades from the mud. The festival is filled with mud activities as well as vendors, performers and much more.
