Did you know that in the winter, humidity decreases causing the water in your skin to evaporate quicker. Your skin actually loses more than 25 percent of its ability to hold moisture in the cold, windy winter months. I have dry skin, but in the winter it gets VERY, VERY DRY! I’ve rounded up my top few favorite skincare products I’ve been relaying on this season:

#1: Dr. Jart+ Hydration Lover Rubber Mask

This mask is one of my absolute favorites–it makes you look like a legit alien smurf creature, but it’s a super unique, most hydrating mask. This is a great one to wear after a plane ride or a day on the ski slopes!
  • Contains: Phyto Keratin Complex, a botanical protein & Green Seaweed Extract, which is rich in vitamin C and minerals
  • Benefits: improve water retention & maintains the balance of skin for a more hydrated and supple look
  • Available on Sephora
  • Cost: $12

#2: Drunk Elephant B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum

I honestly don’t know how this should be used exactly. I got it as a gift and I’ve been mixing it with my liquid toner #4 on this list. It’s helping with hydration and its a very generous portion.
  • Contains: pro-vitamin B5 and pineapple ceramide
  • Benefits: dryness, dullness and uneven texture, uneven skin tone
  • Available on Sephora
  • Cost: $52

#3: COSRX one step moisture up pad

I’ve been using these after the shower before my nighttime skincare routine a few times a week in order to create a fresh slate and I have seen an instant benefit. After cleansing, if you wanted to just use this and a moisturizer and head to bed, it would do the trick.
  • Contains: Propolis Extract 79.14%, Betaine Salicylate (BHA) 0.50%, Hyaluronic Acid
  • Benefits: hydrates dry skin and mildly wipes out debris from skin
  • Available on Amazon
  • Cost: $14

#4: Mamonde Floral Hydro Ampoule Toner

I love this toner in the winter! It prides itself on having “essence” texture with toner benefits. It’s really very lovely. As I mentioned before, I mix it with the Drunk Elephant product for a liquidy texture that is refreshing and hydrating.
  • Contains: Water Cycle
  • Benefits: replenishes, delivers intense moisture and locks it in serum
  • Available on Mamonde US Site
  • Cost: $18

#5: COSRX Oil-Free Ultra-Moisturizing Lotion (with Birch Sap)

If you only buy one thing on this list, this is what you should purchase!!  I use it in the Korean 10-Step method after a serum, but before a moisturizer, but you can wear it on its own. My skin just drinks it up!! It’s absolutely incredible.
  • Contains: 70% birch sap
  • Benefits: calms and treats sensitive, irritated, or freshly exfoliated skin
  • Available on Amazon
  • Cost: $20

Available on Amazon | Cost: $17

#6: Innisfree Jeju Orchid Enriched Cream

This title is misleading because it’s definitely in the form of a gel cream instead of a thick cream. For me, this is GOOD! I detest moisturizers that feel like i’m putting straight lotion on my face and I always prefer a more gel-like cooling texture. After searching long and hard, I have found it!
  • Contains: Orchid Elixirs
  • Benefits: add glow while strengthening the skins natural self-defense power.
  • Available on Amazon
  • Cost: $20

#7: COSRX Low pH First Cleansing Milk Gel

So I tried this in a free trial and I fell in love. Very soothing and cleansing!

Available on Amazon | Cost: $15

  • Contains: Carica Papaya Fruit Extract (help remove sunscreen and any residue on skin), Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract (Soothing & Moisturizing), Allantoin
  • Benefits: cleanser for sensitive skin to remove sunscreen and lightweight base makeup without irritation. Suitable for all skin types
  • Available on Amazon
  • Cost: $15

#8: Dr. Jart + Ceramidin Facial Mask

This are hydrating masks that are relaxing and smell nice. I like these for daily use in the winter just to maintain moisture.
  • Contains: Keep Moist Complex Panthenol and Aloe vera leaf juice
  • Benefits: moisturizing barrier and prevents moisture from evaporating with its soft emulsion formula, provides a smooth finish without stickiness, and immediately improves skin texture
  • Available on Sephora for $6 each or on Amazon for $16 for a pack of 5
  • Cost: $18
